US Microcap stocks are defined as stocks having a market capitalisation of less than US$300 million and trading below US$5.

All US Microcap stocks cannot be traded online (UTRADE web and UTRADE mobile app).

Clients attempting to place online trades for US Microcap stocks may receive one of the following rejection messages:
· Orders for US Microcap Stocks are restricted, please contact your trading representative.
· We are not able to process your order because you have insufficient buy holdings for this counter.

If you encounter either message for Sell order, please fill in the US Microcap Exemption Request Form (click here) and send it to your Trading Representative.

For Buy order, please note that you can only purchase US Microcap stocks through your Trading Representative if they meet the following criteria:
· Market capitalisation more than US$50 million or stock price more than US$0.50. Kindly note that acceptance of the trade order is subject to approval.
